Rosier, a Montreal-based, bilingual collective led by powerful female vocals, seamlessly navigates the space “between tradition and modernity.” Their sound, a captivating blend of ethereal folk, poetic lyrics, and dreamy textures, brings a fresh perspective to the indie-folk landscape. Reimagining traditional songs, they amplify contemporary female narratives while staying true to their musical origins, weaving in subtle pop and indie influences. With a decade-long history as Les Poules à Colin, Rosier has graced stages across fifteen countries, released five acclaimed albums (including 2021’s “Légèrement”), and earned four prestigious Canadian award nominations. Their new album, “elle veille encore,” offers an introspective journey into the maternal spirit, set against a backdrop of shimmering ethereal folk, dream-pop, and indie-rock.
